DR YG TAN JURUTERA PERUNDING was formed in 1989 to provide consultancy service for the housing and construction industry.

Over the years it has evolved and established as a multi disciplinary consultancy practice. The firm was later corporatized and commenced business as DR Y G TAN JURUTERA PERUNDING SDN BHD on 1st July 2006. Dr Y G Tan Jurutera Perunding Sdn Bhd will continue to maintain its reputation for practical and economical design in addition to personalize services. A wide range of services are now available for structural works which include high rise condominium, commercial buildings, residential housing, hotels, factories, golf courses, club houses, international class marina clubs and educational institution.

For infrastructure works, the firm has undertaken the designs of highways, bridges, cloverleaf interchanges, major sewerage treatment plant, water resources, water supply, integrated water supply scheme to 30 million gallons per day with pumping and storage capacities to serve newly developed townships and for urban areas. In Geotechnical Engineering, the firm has undertaken foundation designs and geotechnical engineering consultancy services which include land reclamation works, pond filling, hill slope developments and basement construction. For Industrial Buildings, the firm is in association with many Architecture Practice to provide integral Architecture, Civil, Structure, Mechanical and Electrical Services.
